I ask this because I've been thinking lately (again a bad idea) that math is still a REAL part of my life. Although it's a completely different part of
it now BUT still a big part.
What I mean is...... The entire time I used; meth was my world. Everything hinged on my meth use, my life revolved around it. Now everything hinges on meth recovery and helping others recover.
I'm not a substance abuse counselor or anything of the sort, but I / we come here everyday and discuss meth use and meth recovery.
I haven't used in 4+ years and it's still a large part of my life. Will it always be this way? What do ya'll think?
Will we / I get to a point in our / my recovery where our meth use is a fleeting memory in our past, or will it always be right there on our shoulders like that little devel.......tap, tap, tap, you're still there.........Phuck!
Edited to add.........I wonder if ex-cocaine, crack, or ex-heroin users do what we do. Is still a huge part of their lives?
