Because I am HERE for it. I can enjoy stuff now. But that's not really the best thing that ever happened to me. I think for me it was this 3 week desert camping trip through California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas that I did with my continuation high school. I was a total psycho back then, but it's where I discovered how much I like nature and outdoors. It's the first time I climbed a mountain, the first time I pushed myself for something and got big time rewards in the form of unassuming and raw beauty of the earth. Even though all the bullshit over the years, that gift never left me. I had never really known about being outside or nature before. And there is still so much of it to see and enjoy.
