i read the guidelines the first day i visited this site. other than that the only time i have seen them is when they are posted inside of a post. which i usually jump over.
having said that i guess you know im not to familiar with them. and im not going to go read them to try and figure out who is right and who is wrong. i couldnt do it anyway.
i am neither judge nor jury. i am an addict. i didnt come to this site to see how it was run. or change how it was run. i came to this site looking for help. help which i found.
i think it is a shame if luv left this site because of the way she felt she was being treated. i think each one of us should look at ourselves and the reason we are here. not the reason someone else is hear.
not someones elses agenda. not the sites agenda. our agenda. why are we here.
greg ps. i hope this has something to do with what you asked my friend. but its just what ive been thinking.

Sometimes discretion is a higher sense of maturity than a person who just runs off at the mouth and hurts another person. For the record........................I am not sure that ANYONE did this to LUV at all. Only Luv could answer that question. I think that people can be honest but still use tact and compassion.

I found that Luv last posted 5-15.. Where ever she is, I hope she is happy and living well. It really stinks when you feel like someone is not coming back. I sure hope that is not the case.

I just saw her at Wal Mart - she got a job as a greeter. (sorry, couldn't resist)
I love Luv - she can take as long as she wants to figure herself or her situation or whatever else she needs to figure out for herself and her kids.
I love her just the way she is - that's how you love your friends. She isn't hurting anybody or anything - she didn't ask for any recipes - she just is a girl doing the best she can like the rest of us. Live and let live - We all rock anyway - all of us - we are all at different ends of the pool here - some are dipping their toes in sobriety, some are admiring the view - some are learning to swim - and there's always the one who has to jump in and dive bomb.

Luv-e brought a Private Message to the public board for comment. Presumably she wanted people to comment and give their opinions on the issue. Luv has been here long enough to know that not everyone is going to buy in to her sympathy-seeking routines. Some will, some won't. Chris Gonz asked the moderators to remove the post because it was Luv's private business. A moderator brought a whole lot of her own personal issues with Chris into the thread. The moderators banned ChrisGonz for giving her opinion on Luv's post. So who has been the most unfairly treated in this saga? Luv or Chris? Luv's still out there posting under to other names. Chris was subjected to punishment and exile for daring to ask a moderator to apply the guidlines evenly. IMO Luv threw the pebble into the pond that set off a tsunami of polarised debate and then ran away to wait for everyone to call her back and say they are sorry her feelings were hurt. This would not be the first time she's played out the same pattern on here and the Crystal Recovery boards. But in the broader scheme of things, we have Luv to thank for being the catalyst in opening up a can of worms that has been writhing under the surface at KCI for a long. It's just possible that the conflict that has arisen as a result of Luv's thread will result in a resolution that has far more positive outcomes in the longer term.
