Hi all - haven't been here in awhile but I really wanted to share with you all what a Luv that Luv is (hope you don't mind, Luv).....
I didn't get a chance to see her while she was in San Diego as my life is complete chaos......
But as I am sitting here next to my dying mom on Mother's Day and knowing I will not have another one - I also feel extremely blessed.
I got a call yesterday from Luv's darling son that he wanted to come by before he left to go back home from collage for the summer, so he stopped by my daughters birthday party on his way to the airport....
With a gift from Luv that was thoughtful beyond belief..
It was a hand painted picture of the Hotel my family and I stayed at for Thanksgiving when my mom was first diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer with a 6 month prognosis.....
It was a very special time for my whole family and Sweet Luv remembered that and saw the painting and got it for me.....along with a gift card for a nice dinner since she doesn't live here and would like to get dinner for us if she was here....
She is as beautiful on the inside as on the outside and I am truely blessed to have her as a treasured friend....
And we met here on KCI........
So to you -
Have a Happy Mother's Day - you have done an amazing job with your boys, who have an amazing role model.....
