Making my anti meth site and was triggered |
Lead | |
|
While making my new Meth site to help others I triggered myself, I was looking for anti meth photos on Google and found some pics of Meth and for the first
time in maybe two weeks felt like using. Scary that it is still with me, even after my longest clean time ever; 68 days . Guess it will take more time. My site
is http://www.squidoo.com/MethnGaycommunity Deals with Meth and Gay community but is helpful to all trying to recover.

it's gonna be tuff sweetie...
....people relapse on my board all the time.....and in the beginning, I was so jealous I could have stomped a crack in the planet. .....but it became a "clockwork orange" my eyes were "held open" ....and I was seeing things, I did'nt wanna know about speed. ....like how it feels to watch someone you love disentagrate. what my mom was like when I was in service. ...it's still hard. but, the lesson keeps coming till you learn it. .......please learn it. or I promise...you will see. ...everytime you do it. it does an equal amount of you. like pet cemetary. you come back with a chunk missing. ...you can come talk to me anytime. I'm up late. I'll help you however I can. ..just ask me *hugs*

My best advice is this: help yourself now; help others later dear one. I'm proud of you for wanting to help others, but you are in no position to do that
until you are stronger. Just my humble opinion.

Life's FULL of triggers. Get used to 'em!
Rise above them long enough and thoughts of using become fleeting. Like yourself enough to treat yourself with respect. You are now free from the slavery despite the thoughts of using. The animal becomes human again. The future looks pretty good. Never sabotage yourself. Like who you are. Remember that the bad outweighs any good of speed when you think about using. |

Robby Thank you For starting your Site.
I Think it is a great idea. I went there and read what I could find. Please Keep it up. Just watch out for those triggers. They can hit you at anytime, anyplace, even over things that seem totally related. I share the same triggers as you. I hope to read more from you. Hang in there Buddy. Congrats on the 69 days! Way 2 go! Hang on for dear life Robby! You CAN do this... |

Once you overcome your addiction, you know you can overcome all things. The impossible becomes possible. The undoable, doable. The unmanageable, manageable. Overcoming an addiction even eases the process of releasing our addiction to life at the time of our death. In the process of overcoming addiction, you can learn discipline, self-confidence, humility, appreciation, self-love, and forgiveness.
Important lessons, these.
