For once in my life I see the light, Not the one that flickers under my pipe.
My site is set on making this change, to walk the road that's sometimes strange.
The pain I feel will come and go, walking the path I start to grow.
I show my family and myself, that I am worth the time put out.
It's about joy and it's about peace, it's about being able to walk down the street.
My life has changed in so many ways, I'm not the kid that's stuck in the game.
Walking this path is not easy to do, I have found the other half of the man I once knew.
I can never forget just where I came from, when I laid down my pipe and got rid of the gun.
The sun it shines upon me each day, to let me know he watches us play.
To say thank you is getting much easier, no longer wondering how to be sleazier.
To be honest is not hard just say what's on my mind, To be willing of course that's how I got this time.
But humility is difficult for me to accomplish, so when I do it myself I astonish.
My thinking is not always on the straight, but I know deep inside sobriety is my fate.
I take my days as gifts from HP, and thank him for savings a dope phien like me.
