How do I check my PMs (private messages)?
At the very top of any page, you will see the yuku logo, Welcome (Your Username), Account, Images, and Logout links. Right next to the logout link there is a small envelope with a number in parentheses. If you have no messages, the number will be 0. Click on the envelope to read your PMs.
How do I get back to the board from reading PMs?
You can either hit the back button on your browser until you arrive back at the board, or you can click the "NAVIGATION" button on the top right corner of the screen, then select "Communities" in the middle of the page. From there, click "Recently Visted", and kci.org.
Why isn't the post/reply I just made showing up?
There is some lag at times causing new posts or replies to not appear even though they were posted correctly. Give it several minutes, or close your browser completely, repopen, and navigate back to the forum.
How do I report a post that doesn't follow the guidelines?
You may either send a private message to Penel0pe, Loraura, or Imlostinky (this is the fastest way) or anonymously you can click the "More" link under the poster's member name, and select "Report Post".
How do I report a member, but not a specific post?
Click on their name from any post, click the "Report" button.
How can I block someone from sending me PMs?
Click on their name on any post they have made, click the "Block" button.
How can I ignore a member's posts?
Click the "more" link under their Member name on any post they have made, click the "Ignore User's Posts" button. The result of this would be that all posts made and threads started by that member would be automatically minimized when you view topics.
How do I edit the information that is shown when someone clicks on MY name?
Click the Account link at the top of the page, then click "View and Edit profile".
How do I post a video or picture?
To add an image from your album to your post:
- From the post editor (where you type your post before posting it), click the
Insert Image icon . - Click on the folder you want to add the image from.
- Click on the image you want to add to your post.
To add an image from a URL to your post:
- From the post editor (where you type your post before posting it), click the Insert Image icon.
- Click the
Add
From URL button. - Enter the URL of the image into the text box.
- Click 'OK'.
You can also use the photobucket icon 
to place images if you have a photobucket account linked.
How to I quote another member's post?
If you want to quote an entire post from a member, click the "quote" link under their name from the post you wish to quote.
If you only want to quote a sentence or two. Highlight the sentence (by clicking and dragging the mouse over it).Right click, and select "Copy"
or type "Ctrl+C". Begin posting your new post or reply as usual. In the area for typing the text of your post, paste the text that you copied.
Highlight that text, then click the Quote button, which looks like an opening and closing double quote (" ").
You will know you've done it right if the text you quoted is surrounded by a box right there while you are typing your post.
How can I edit my post?Go read your post, then click the "Edit" link right at the top of it, or under your name on the left. After editing your text, click the edit button (between preview and cancel).
I don't want someone to see my posts, can you delete them all?
No. But you can edit every post you've made that still appears on the board.
How do I add a link to another site into a post?
- To make a link, FIRST type in the word that you wish to turn into a link.
- Select the word in the editor
- Click the link button
- Type or paste the url of your link into the first text area in the resulting pop up box.
- Click submit
Begin you post as usual, click the preview button rather than "post". You will see everything as it will appear in a post. If things look right, you can just cancel without posting, or continue editing in the areas below the preview.
I want to be notified of replies on a thread that I started. How do I do that?
If you want email notification of responses to a thread, just click the Click to receive E-mail notifications of replies link at the bottom of the board.
How you receive the notification depends on your personal Account settings. Click on Account, then look in the Settings box and click the Preferences link, then Notifications and Options to set them up.
