Well night has fallen on this world of mine, like a curtain between me and its lies. Not even the absence of the warming winter sun can cast a shadow on this newly formed bliss that I have discovered. The corrosive destruction of meth addiction and the ravenous insatiable appetite of time, have taken a toll on my youthful elasticity and my ever crumbling frame. My mind has remained untouched and indeed has improved its capacity for reason and understanding.
I believe it was Shakespeare who said “He was left bloodied but his head was unbowed” I will go farther and state “I now stand chin up chest out and proud”. What is there to not be proud of I have faced the devil and his mistress; stood my ground and smirked at his sneers. I have walked a path most could not endure; I have seen my father’s footsteps and went the other way. I have stood up for basic human rights and walked away from money when the battle had been lost. I have fought fire with fire and with water then decided words worked best.
