I still have a disease, sober or not and the sobriety based side is as powerful and destructive as the using based side.As we were in denial while in our active using phase of addiction, so too can we bring that denial into our recovery....It's because we are used to thinking in a way that supports what we want to believe.It is the sobriety based symptoms of addiction that lead to relapse...
