My father is blind. He has glaucoma, which is a disease of the optic-nerve...usually caused by to much pressure.

I have watched him wither away to nothing. He literally lives in his bedroom, and only goes as far as the front porch to smoke and drink his coffee. Looking back, he had panic disorders his whole life. Since going completely blind, the panic has taken over his life though. He is untreated and refuses it. He visted the same sort of doctors you have. He sees things, his body burns and tingles, he's dizzy, he feels like he is suffocating. He doesn't want to believe it's mental and not the glaucoma causing those issues. Which sort of reminds me of what you are doing...just in reverse.

I don't know if meth can cause that, but I would highly suggest listening to the docotrs. If you keep blaming yourself and meth, you may miss the real problem and thus the solution. Have you been checked for diabetes? Do you recall any other symptoms before and during your drug use? Head traumas can cause eyesight problems also.

Blindess is no joke!!! I once put a mask over my eyes, and I tried walking with my dad's walking cane. I immediately couldn't breathe, and I flung that mask off thankful that I could see. My dad's life could be much better though if he'd listen to the doctors...keep looking for the answers!
