Yeah, alcohol is a depressant (at least after it wears off, I get MORE energy from alcohol when it's working!).

So I limit my alcohol intake to avoid the depressant effect.


Does this make my recovery moot?

This is an honest question.



Also: Greg, I see what you're saying about recovery seeming like an illusion sometimes. And that's the thing. Once I "figure something out" it is very difficult for me to fall back in it. I have a VERY good understanding of the steps. Which makes them difficult for me to use now.

It's like I break everything I figure out, just by figuring it out. Hmm.
