The thing is you didn't try Robbie. You didn't try hard, you didn't do whatever it takes to stay sober. If you really wanted to get clean you would do whatever it takes to get there and what would start with staying at treatment. You have to realize that you don't know more than the treatment center and your way is what got you addicted in the first place. So what if they had one group a day, that's how it was when I was in treatment. Nothing is going to be picture perfect guy, if you wanted to stop using you would. It's just that simple. We make choices to use and we make choices not to use. Personally I see no use in going another treatment center right now because the same thing will most likely happen. You keep going from place to place but the one thing that is always there is YOU. You cannot run away from your problems or yourself. You'll have to face your addiction eventually. Hopefully its in recovery and not six feet under. I used to not be able to follow anything through either. But once I made the decision to give recovery a honest to god try then I started to keep appointments, finish projects, honor my obligations, and in the process I became trustworthy and dependable. Who would've known that I could be capable of such things? It's all about choices, chose to lose or chose to win. I chose to be a winner today.
