Yes.  I have a current co-worker who used to work in meth detox.  I often go visit her during my lunch hour.  I still can't know for sure if my boyfriend is using meth, but today dramatically increased my suspicions.  I have been talking to her about symptoms of meth use, long before I found this amazing forum.  She too has mentioned "that smell, like cat urine."

Oh, people.  I just scrolled down a little.  I was drunk last night and posted things -- not sure if they went through or not.  I put it off as long as possible each day, but my computer usage goes hand-in-hand with drinking.  Then I start with my news websites, then email, and kcl is my newest computer addition and therefore comes last, but unfortunately by the time I get to kcl I am usually drunk.  I'm new to this forum, but what I posted or didn't post last night related to not the disgusting "just put them in a room together" or the Pollyanna "Can't we all just get along?" but that we ARE here to help each other.

Being former meth addicts (I am not, so I feel like I'm contributing more than I can justify, because I HAVEN'T "been there, done that"), and being on this forum, you would be aware of the permanent psychological damage.  Everybody's got their creaks and groans in life.  What is most important is to maintain this forum, because it is the best around, and keep it "a good place" for addicts to come to.  Maybe I have an advantage because I came on here as in-a-relationship-with-an-addict, not an addict.  I'm so into holding it together for my addict.  If I had come on as an addict myself, I might not be posting now.
