I am. I had two relapses. If it wasnt for the gun in my truck I wouldnt be getting chaptered. It is what it is. Im going to make this negative into a positive. Its like I told my CO and my counselor, you can take my tab; you can take my beret; you can pull my clearance and kick me out but you can't take away my accomplishments or the man I am. My CO asked me just a few minutes ago what he can do to 1-increase awareness and 2-catch more offenders. I told him make the UA's more unpredictable and told him how. I also told him that ASAP needs to be clarified. If after 11 years I was unclear, Im sure others are as well. I volunteered to give a class to the entire company about the dangers and temptations of drug abuse but also the resources available and how not only soldiers will be affected from seeking but how they will be protected after seeking help as well. Lets face it, commanders can talk till theyre blue in the face but with someone like me telling them what can happen and hey oh by the way, I know from first hand experience, people will perk up just a little bit more.
