....This is becoming a bad problem for our society.  Medical and Social Services costs are skyrocketing.  The meth epidemic is becoming a much bigger part of the problem then it used to be. Most meth addicts are not insured.  Making meth can be very dangerous, and when accidents happen they are costly, and take many years of reconstructive surgery to repair.  All of this at the tax payers expense.  Its true that many burn centers are closing due to the lack of insurance of many of the victims.  When a cook is busted their children normally go into Child Protective Services, and that is another great expense to the taxpayer.  Just like alcohol, and smoking cigarettes raises the cost of health care, so does meth use.  Carol
