The thing that really bothers me about this quote is that the two halves don't seem to go together:  "Sometimes I go about in pity for myself" would indicate to me that the second half of the quote would be something about not pitying yourself or how others have it worse than you do.

Instead, the second half concerns itself with a great wind carrying me across the sky, which would indicate that we have little to no ability to control the forces that shape us.  Which has nothing to do about pitying yourself.  smiley: ohwell

It just doesn't compute to me, and when something doesn't compute, I obsess about it for days.  smiley: indifferent
