Hey Abyss - Don't worry about it.  I've been clean for about 8 years now.  I know how you are feeling because I have been there before.  I told my brother that I was going to try to help others, and he wrote back to me saying that he would prefer if I just stayed away from anything that had to do with meth.  I reassured him that I would kill myself before ever touching meth again, and I would. Meth is a very destructive drug that takes many lives.  Some people are not as lucky, as those of us who were able to get out from under its grip.  Many people die a meth addict.  Those of us who are lucky enough to be able to stay clean, want to give something back to those who are trying to get clean.  If I can help you to stop, not only am I helping to save your life, but I am saving your family, friends, and loved ones the grief of loving a meth addict.  Not to mention, any children that you may have.  I have two beautiful, intelligent, loving teenage daughters who had a mother who was a meth addict for most of their lives.  I can't give them those years back, but I wish that I could.  Just take things one day at a time.  Hearing you planning your next high got the best of me.  Why would you want to go through that over and over again?  We are all here to help you to stay clean, so do it for you, and do it for your family.  I hope that tomorrow is a better day for you.  The first month is a b!tch no doubt about it.  Don't worry about how much you eat right now.  Your body needs it right now.  It will taper off in a short while.  I actually lost weight when I quit doing meth, so don't waste any time being worried about that. Try to get a good night sleep tonight.  Your friend, Carol
