"People just seem to ignore the fact that people miss the drug. They pretend the drug goes away and people never think of using and that is just unrealistic"
Howdy Robby, Hope you're doing well today.

I think you're missing it a little. I think (maybe I'm wrong) that most of the people who originally replied to your question "does anyone ever miss it?", are addicts that have anywhere from several years to many many years of clean time under their belts.

I think that most, if not all of those people would agree that they indeed did crave meth in the first months maybe years of recovery.

I know I did! I've said it before.... I was a wreck for the first year of recovery. I Think I craved meth daily for almost 2 years after getting clean. BUT.... with time those cravings subside.

If you change your lifestyle, your friends, your thinking; get into a positive recovery program; surround yourself with sober friends and roll models. Start a new clean life, then your chances of success at beating this are much greater.

It's a life changing endeavour..... meaning YOU have to change your life. It will not happen all by itself.
