Personality Disorders are their own breed of cat.

They form when we are very young, when our personalty's are forming, and they pretty much become who we are...They are hard-wired into us and they are very enduring.

Personality Disorders don't respond well to counseling or medication...There really is no "magic bullet" to change a person's personality style.

Add co-occurring disorders like depression, substance use, anxiety, add to that basic life skills, and it can be pretty hard for someone with all of this to know where to start.

Accept Rob for who he is, he is frustrating because he is frustrated, he makes us angry because he is angry and we become confused because he is confused.

He is a tormented person who is searching for his own answers for his own life, and if you read between the lines, is not asking for us to solve his problems, so all this "advice giving" is not the solution.

He asks us for empathy and you can either go there...Or you can't.
