You dont have to know how to recover. You just have to be willing to do what other people suggest. Unless it is harmful or dangerous there is literally no drawback in doing what other people suggest. If you arent sure if a suggestion is harmful or dangerous, bounce it off another person you trust. Basically, Robby, I gave you a very simple suggestion with zero drawback and no ties to any kind of recovery program, no spiritual component, with a huge payoff when it becomes habit. All you had to do was be willing to take the suggestion. Until you are willing to take simple suggestions like that one, no one can ever help you. You did ASK for suggestions in that thread.I do know a lot and that is because I have been around rooms for years... you know , you learn an awful lot about relapse. I guess I just have not found anyone I trust really because peoplethink they can dissect me and analyze me and they know what will cure me but it never works so I go back to my way. I have tried the suggestions over the years and I keep getting high. I will be the first to admit that I do NOT want to lose my drugs because they are dear to me and who I am but I do NOT want the consequences anymore and am afraid to die. I want tofind a way to use minus the consequences. I asked for suggestions to forget about meth and be free from this addiction but so far nobody can tell me how to do that.
