Yup. It's really hard to come to terms with. I find it helpful to think of them as two different people... Because the differences are so huge, that it's like it really isn't them at all. But, like some people have said to me, they're still in there somewhere, but you don't know if they will ever escape.
After he got physical with my friend and threatened my life I kicked him out.
I'm very glad to hear this.
He lives in a house full of ten other meth addicts and he told me while there he was staying away from that. But I find that hard to believe. I feel he's been lying to me an the meth is what made him heartlessly leave me last night.
I think that if he is living with active users, then he will be using. If not now, then soon. And addicts do lie... Some (like mine) are very good at it.... Trust your gut.
