Great question wat2do!

Well I had been wanting to quit meth for a long time, but My addiction was a total secret from everyone.

Well kind of...... I had been using for about 3 years daily before my wife caught me. When she caught me I told her that I didn't have a problem with it and would never do it again.

That was a lie. I continued to use for another 4 years. I just got real real good at hiding it. My wife suspected something but she didn't know what. She really thought I was cheating on her, and I guess I kind of was, just not with a person.

During my active addiction I held it together pretty good. I held a job the whole time, I payed my bills etc. But towards the end everything was falling apart; I was having to do much more dope just to maintain some kind of normalcy, and feel

somewhat close to good. This was taking a financial tole on us and she still didn't know.

I was really wanting to quit but I didn't know how to and still keep it a secret.

Well my wife was really suspecting something so she went to my employer and got my payroll records. My weekly deposits were about $200-$300 less than my check was so she knew something was up.

I'll speed things up here....... After finding all this out she went to my parents and my employer. They determined I was probably doing drugs, so they approached me about it. Of course I denied it until I was blue in the face.

After much hounding I finally broke down and told them I was doing meth. My Dad already suspected it and had contacted my Insurance Co and got a referral to a good rehab.

Long story short....... On March 9th 2005 I decided to go to rehab. I live in Ga and the rehab was in Ca. I wasn't able to get there until the 13th of March, so after talking to the rehab people they suggested I continue to use until I get on the plane, so I did.

I checked into rehab on 3-13-05 and stayed there 3 months. It's been real hard at times, but rehab gave me many tools to use and meetings meetings meetings will help get you through it working the steps and a good sponsor make a big difference.

Ohh yeah..... my wife and I are still together and we just had a baby last year. Things are good!!!
