Bobbie - we see and hear wild turkeys all the time. Last week, I almost ran over a hen with 5 chicks crossing my driveway.
I swear, the other night, I heard my young rooster say.... cocka-gobble-do. Poor guy doesn't even know what a chicken is supposed to sound like |

They crack me up. One chased a friend of mine in her big old 4x4 truck down the road, she was afraid she was going to hit him because he stayed right alongside
the wheel with his neck stretched out as far as he could get it. She has the greatest pics of this dumb turkey hauling ass down the highway - his little legs
are a blur - he was cookin, but not in the oven!

My little, tiny, grandma, who wasn't even 5 feet tall anymore, had 11 wild turkeys end up in her yard, so she took the broom after them, and shooed them
back into town. There was a guy there that feeds them, fattening them up, and they run all over this small town. I could just see my little grandma, going
after these big birds, with a broom! haha She was a feisty, little woman!!!!
