Well I got through all my pre op. test today and pre admitted to hospital next week. It was a long day, needless to say. I was given so prescriptions for
after surgery, and the suggested I go ahead and get them filled today.
I went to our local WalMart. It was a hour wait, just to make sure they were filled. I sat in a chair by the pharmacy all that time. Then I saw that the
line was getting longer and longer, so I got up and got in line behind this old man. He pushed his buggy backwards into me several times and I said nothing
and he didn't seem to notice. We were all the way back into the asile for the longest. Then we finaly broke through close to the pick up . There were
two women working behind the counter. So when he got to the counter, I just stepped beside him to get the other woman to wait on me. He jumped down my throat.
"The line is behind me Lady"! I calmly told him there was two lines. (In the meantime he is delaying our service even longer and the women working
there are just standing with thier mouths open , instead of calling it to his attention, there was indeed two women to wait on people and two lines.) He was
screaming at me. Ordinarly I am quick tempered. My daughter and grandaughters walked up on the comotion. I am still trying to tell the man to go on and let
the woman wait on him , that I hadn't cut line. I am tired and about to cry by now and the people were so bunched up, I couldn't get to the back of no
one, if I wanted. No one at Walmart came to my defense. Finaly a man behind me taped the old guy on the shoulder and sternly told him to lift his head and
look, that there were two people waiting on everyone and he had cost us another 5 minute wait with his ravings. Then when the old guy got his medicine, it
just took them a minute to wait on him. Where I was still there waiting on them to find mine.
I was out of breath and frustrated. I belive in respecting elderly. I am no spring chicken. He never appoligised
After the other man jumped him , he just walked on to the counter. As he walked away , the man who helped me with him whipered in my ear, "I suspect he
was a former wife beater" laughing. I wasn't laughing , I thought the old goat was gona hit me with his cane and the employees at walmart saw what
was going on and didn't say a word.
I find more and more reasons to quit shopping at walmart. This was my worst experence yet.
Another day
God bless you all

Difference is, they probably would have thrown him out
of the store. I suspect something, he laughed his ass off when I told him what the old goat done to me. There was a time, I was jusing a cane myself. Dad
said it was a shame I didn't have it yesterday and me and the old man could have duled it out with our canes.
