ss, partyin sober is much easier than partyin without a partner.
The kids are great but the trick is having fun without a significant other and it's hardest on vacations but I'm really thankful to have to walk through it and figure out a way to be joyful. I do like slot machines  and I did win
shhhhhh 700$!!!!!! on one slot machine and I GET UP and CASH OUT so, that did give me a bit of a high.... but ya know, my doc isn't booze or drugs or money/gambling it's love/relationshippin so doing life either alone or with another is good to learn to do in a balanced way. So yeah, I'm partyin sober

i never thought about it that way. you are right. to me, having fun without a significant other is easy, the trick is doing it without substances. without a
significant other, YOU get to choose what you want to do.

Congrats on your winnings too! Enjoy the concert! I d rather be on my own alone rather than WITH the wrong person. Hope you find something spectacular for Dinner & Dessert!

Ok, my vacation diary:
Blue Man Group was AWESOME!!!!!! It was amazing, bizarre, funny, wierd, musical, memorable, (I didn't cry, but I'm not a drum freak like Danimal )
I did fall asleep because things that are so AWESOME cause me to nod off-it's some sort of wierd darkness overstimulation with lights or
something......it happens to me in movies, Cirque De Soleil and basically any show in a theater that I sit down in. If we didn't get up or move with the
amazing ocean of white crepe paper flowing over everyone's heads, well, I would have slept most of the time.

There are ALOT of homeless mentally ill people on the beach in San Diego. There always have been of course....but it's really noticeable when the weather
is crappy.
One woman was yelling at an imaginary dog while she rifled through her rolling suitcase and twisted and braided her hair. "Quit Molesting Me Dog!" over and over and over again. she was probably 40 and yes, she looked like a remnant of the methwar but just a remnant. Like maybe she'd had some help at some time but somehow ended up back at the beach without her meds. My earplanes(the little plugs that release the pressure from the ears) didn't work on my last flight yesterday.....one ear practically exploded. It hurt bad! It's still all plugged up and I feel like an alien-hate this feeling. I even took Sudafed....still didn't work. Makes me not want to fly for another 5 years. I'll just save money and stick around the house. I don't know if the pilot wasn't any good at regulating the pressure in the plane or what but for me, it's bad enough to want to freak out. That pain, I wouldn't wish on anyone. My grass is about 8" tall and it's rainin.....can't mow today. oh well. I guess vacations are still a good thing....
