Yep, Yep.....
Twenty~nine years ago.........
There I was......half on the road.....and half off.

I had just welcomed my first child into this world.
She was 3 weeks past her due date and she has taken her own sweet time in EVERYTHING since then!

I just cannot tell you just how STRONG my daughter is.....and how POSITIVE and OPTIMISTIC.
My daughter has an amazing story to tell.........but very few ever hear it.
She has been.......
......*.whooped by the rain and driven by the snow...
......she's been drunk and dirty...don't you know?...
.......but she is STILL WILLING!*

My daughter prefers to keep her story pretty much to herself.....but I wish she would shout it from the rooftops.
She has survived HELL.
She realized that she would either find herself dead or that she had to change.
And just like that , one day....
She spilled the beans....
Mama....she said ......I am scared.
She was calling from a payphone with not a cent in her pocket...with her son in her arms....
She started talking about her life ...
And MERCY she spoke of things that I shudder to even think about now.
She spoke herself free.
She told ALL.....she told and told until there was NO WAY she could ever return to the nightmare that had been her life.
She let loose....she shook the demons AND the monkey off of her back...
And after a few months with some wonderful friends in a safe place, thousands of miles away
She made her way back to us
And she never looked back.
She never dwells on the past.
She hardly ever speaks of times gone by.
She is one AMAZING WOMAN of whom I am VERY PROUD !!!

I just cannot believe how much she has overcome and is like....
Oh that was SO Yesterday!!
And she just skips so happily into her future.
I love you. Words can never tell how Joyous I am that you have returnd.
I hope that you enjoy your dang birthday bird........
(Yep....she got a bird for her birthday...looks just like Pen's bird!!!!)

It has been a PLEASURE indeed, getting to know you returnd....
You are teaching me in ways that you may never understand.
You are like an ancient sage and a child at the same time!
