Legally u cannot be charged w/ violating the order of protection, since it is against ur abuser not u. But if u do maintain contact or see ur abuser and he becomes abusive the judge may not take ur case seriously in the future. This is a CRUCIAL CAVEAT. Best case- u dont see/ talk to him! Sounds like u made a decision already anyway!

He must understand absolutely that you will not tolerate drugs in or around your home or yourself. Period, no exceptions.
