Yes.....my addict still tells people he's just fine
although, he's in jail , 43 yrs old very much in debt, has felony convictions and lost everything....but his addict girlfriends who come to see him in jail
and accept his collect calls. Yes, he says he's just fine too.
addiction sucks and it's not fine and it doesn't magically go away overnight no matter how much we hope it might.

My kid moved to a sober living facility for six months, came out, seemed to be doing fine also, one random day after work she was hanging around with normal party people, drink, smoke pot, and used. She was lucky. She woke up the next day, drove herself to the recovery home again, stayed one year. Everyone's story is different, but just know that meth is manipulative-making. Dumbwife, I am sure the man you are married to wants you to think that everything is "just fine." I used a lot of different types of drugs for a very
long time in my life. I was a "weekend warrior" who had a college degree and a good job. I was "just fine" until meth took hold of me. It
was the one drug I could not control. It almost ruined my life. Be very careful about believing everything you hear. Nothing is as it seems with a meth user.
Keep your eyes and ears wide open. he will be ever so crafty in hiding his habit now that you know and it is threatened.
