I just came across this story today and I urge you all to have a look. And if it's in your heart to take some action, please do so. We're trying to
flood the prison with as many letters and emails as possible. Thanks

Hey Jim!
I am bumping this one up....and also want to let you know that I will be sending a letter in today's mail and I will be emailing as well. I already write to someone at the Yankton Prison. This one feels close to home. I can also write a letter to the editor of the Sioux Falls Newspaper, The Argus Leader..... Just a few years ago a former user/friend of mine was incarcerated in the Minnesota Prison system and when his elderly mother fell ill, and was dying , they gave him the option to attend her funeral or a leave of absence to visit her while she was still living. He opted for the visit. He also was in on meth charges. He was not a violent offender. He got to see his mother and he had to go back. She died while he was in, shortly after the visit. For what it might be worth, I will be writing today. Sincerely, Roxi |

You're all terrific, and have given Easter additional meaning! It makes you realize how lucky we are just to be able to celebrate it. Good
wishes to all and I hope a bunny stops by with a truckload of chocolate for you.

Hi Jim. I am sending an e mail after finishing this post. Some say I have a "nak" for letter writting. Never found much good for it, maybe this is
the time and place for it. My prayers for all concerned will be said as well.

P.S. Jim, I went to the posted link and the e mail address at the web page gives an inaccurate e mail address that my mail account (hotmail) will not accept as
being valid. Just a "heads up", and I am sending the warden a snail mail letter that will go in the mail tomorrow morning (Easter Sunday).

Hey All!
I am reporting that I just saw this little girl and her father on TV on our local news. They let him visit her at her bedside for 2 hours yesterday. She was in a coma state but said her heartbeat stabilized during the time they spent together. The father looked very grateful and he seemed really calm. Just thought that I would share that. |

My neighbor told me yesterday that the little girl had died, the day after her father visited with her. Again, I thought that I would share that.
She saw it on our local news. She got the same feeling that the family was very grateful and seemed to be at peace. |

My prayers go out to the family & Jayci | ||
|
My heart was touched, and saddened at the news of Jayci being able to see Dad, and then losing her battle w/cancer. I am thankful she saw Dad, and tearful in
her leaving her earthly life. I know she is in the loving arms of God, the same God who heard her cries.
