1) Type the following: [image]http://
2) Paste in the URL for the image you'd like to use.
3) Type the following: [/image]
4)When you're done, click the checkbox marked "Preview" next to the Add Post button, and you will see a preview of your post. If you make a mistake, scroll down to the message area and start with step 1 again.
Please note, some web hosts do not allow remote linking to message boards. Geocities and Tripod are two places that don't allow it. Many photo storage sites don't allow linking, either. If you have a host that does not allow remote linking, you will get a red X instead of an image in your post. You'll have to find a place that allows it, then repeat the procedure starting with step 1.
Also, you cannot link images that are stored on your hard drive. You must find a web host that allows remote linking. A few places that, at the time of this post, offer remote linking are:
Photobucket (http://www.photobucket.com)
Netscape (http://mywebpage.netscape.com/)
and Mac.com (http://www.mac.com/)
You can use the image button, to the left of the area you type in to make posts and replies instead of using steps above, all you will need to do is paste in the URL to the picture.
