I never was a fishslinger... the fishslapr thing is a bit of a long story, but here it is... The fishslapr thing is a drawn out takeoff from the movie Airplane when the 2 black guys ask the stewardess for more food saying "Slap me another slab of the butterfish, Mama, #!%!..."(A little background info- the group of guys I grew up with & I were all in the boyscouts- We were the only troop that smoked pot- & yet we held down on every contest & competition, taking first place in everything we were involved in...we did a lot of camping & backpacking-it was truly awesome..)back to the fishslapr story... So we are on a long term hike,(56 miles over six days) & some of the younger scouts were lagging behind. So to egg them on to pick up the pace my buddy yells out "come on girls, just one foot in front of the other, just keep those butterfishes slappin!!." From there it transformed into me using it as a playful threat "I'll slap you like a fish" "You ever been slapped like a fish? Cuz I'll do it," from there it took an eerie twist to me actually slapping fish after catching them, just to piss off all their fish friends so they would try & steal my bait, therefore allowing to catch more fish, slap more fish, piss off more fish, catch more fish, well, I'm sure you get it… it was at that point that I actually became Fishslapr. I actually have my fishslapr mask. once I don the Fishslapr mask I transform into the fishslapr persona - a pseudo-psycho superhero- but dont tell anyone, I dont want my true identity getting out... tryin to keep a low profile, ya know? so, thats the story, & I'm stickin to it greg |
