Lol credit cards have nearly been my ruin. I am in bankruptcy over it.. I took ch. 13 so I could be honest and actually pay my debts, without all that constant interest keeping my bill nearly the same. But now they inform me that I am not entitled to the tax rebate check everyone is getting. Ch 13 court is keeping it. I also found out a percentage goes in my attorneys pocket and the trusstee judge. Yeah, my interest rates are out of this world. That's part of price for ruining my credit during my addiction. It takes a long, long time to recoup. And, I'm commuting 30 miles to work, and the price of gas, as we all know, is criminal.

I just can't stand being in debt. I had no debt before I made this move. Not even a car payment. But I had to buy a new car before the move because my old Honda was dying. And sales tax here is out of this world. There is no state income...

I feel your pain. I just canceled all my hubby's premium channels on the satellite tv....
...I just pray the next to go isn't my DSL. I live so far in the country, I couldn't drive

Way to go, doing the next right thing, taking care of that debt!

It's hard, but worth the sacrifice!

In the last couple of years I paid off all the credit card debt I racked up during my first marriage, a vehicle, and a student loan, and it feels wonderful to be out from under that stuff! After paying it all off it was like giving myself a pretty hefty raise!

Ya know.....perhaps someone around you has wireless and you might be able to pick up on it. Not everyone has firewalls or whatever. I pick up 3 of my neighbors. I don't know how to do it exactly, but perhaps.....a techy might help ya.

It's not like it's stealing or anything....

I've disconnected by dsl, home phone, and cable effective tomorrow in order to save some money in an effort to get these credit cards paid off - you know, the ones I maxed out to move up here to the Inland Northwest to be by my boy.

So, unless I can find somewhere to take my laptop and go online for free (I've heard a rumor that there's a coffee house like that somewhere by my house), then I won't be online on the weekends.

Just a heads up for all of you...
